Are you highly organized, a great communicator, and ready to be the backbone of a dynamic business community? The Spicer Commercial Club (SCC) is seeking a dedicated Administrator to manage the day-to-day operations and support our mission to promote business in Spicer!
About the Role
This part-time (5-25 hours per week, varies based on the season/event), flexible, independent contractor position is perfect for a self-starter who excels at multitasking and detail-oriented work. You will be the primary contact and organizational hub for the not-for-profit club, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication with members and the public. Salary for the administrator is paid monthly by the club’s treasurer.
Key Administrator Job Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will manage a variety of crucial administrative and financial tasks, including:
- Communication & Technology:
- Maintaining and updating the SCC Website and Social Media presence.
- Managing and updating the Online Events Calendar.
- Efficiently handling incoming emails and voicemails.
- Financial & Membership Management:
- Processing and tracking Membership Dues collection.
- Managing the Bank Account and QuickBooks for accurate record-keeping.
- Processing bill payments.
- Operational Support:
- Handling incoming mail and general correspondence.
- Managing necessary Permits, Licenses, and Insurance documentation.
- Coordinating logistics for stage rentals.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an administrative, bookkeeping, or office management role.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office/Google Workspace).
- Experience managing websites (using Word Press) and social media platforms.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
