PWELC encompasses over 500 acres of rolling glacial terrain, woods, prairies, ponds and wetlands! PWELC is committed to providing outstanding environmental education and outdoor experiences to people of all ages, including customized programs, public events, field trips, memberships and volunteer opportunities. Walk-in visitors are welcome to use hiking and ski trails throughout the year. We have equipment rentals: skis, snowshoes, kicksleds, fat-tire bikes, canoes, and kayaks.
